On June 7, 2020 youth organizers from Clark Magnet High School in Glendale joined together with Black in Glendale and the YWCA Glendale and Pasadena to create the first Glendale March for Black Lives and George Floyd Vigil. The largest gathering of its kind in Glendale history, the March and Vigil saw overwhelming community support and led to the creation of the Coalition for an Antiracist Glendale.
